Positively:
– Responsive Design is near one year old and has become an standard “de
facto”
– Social branding and online reputation are a must.
– Google Glasses and future devices will change the way we consume
internet. It has started this year and may become a wide boom , like it
happened with the Iphone five years ago.
– The Cloud: This is the realbig thing. Websites will be soon apps
living in the cloud and, for sure, pay-per-subscription
– Video and Audio: Now HTML5 has become an standard for the industry, we will see a grow of video based websites that will goal on the Internet TV.
Companees and corporations are all developing a b-side web devoted to video, including the same content, but – say – “affecting” the way SEO and statisics work today. Theer will be a compleet difference evaluating a video-based website ( keywords, content, audience…) in the future.
Negatively:
– The web today also comprises mobile apps, and those are closed to
their respective systems ( Oses) .
– So, we need an app for Android, another one for the Blackberry, one
more for the Iphone…
– This is the common trend now there is no flash player ( capable for
all devices ) for mobile.
– Speaking on technologies JQueryMobile and Adobe Phonegap do not
accomplish all the goals a corporation must need.
– There is, however, the exception of FirefoxOS ( another mobile
ecosystem ), open and standard based.
